Extensive demolition and rebuilding to replace modern 1960s housing that was not fit for purpose. See Image for a view of the area almost 2 years ago - progress has been slowed by the economic crisis. Blackford Hill, and part of the Royal Observatory [covered in white sheeting] can be seen on the horizon.
