This outlook shows clearly the falling ground to the east of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Foulridge. The old Skipton to Colne railway line used to cross canal at Foulridge Wharf and ran through the countryside in the middle distance; you can follow it's route on the OS map. The foothills of Noya Hill are to the right and the high ground on Elslack Moor can be seen on the left far horizon.
