This path, which is in fact the never-built middle section of Atkinson Street, is marked on the official Lancashire map, but is less convenient than the unofficial path Image because it reaches the top of Short Street rather than the bottom, thus further from the Town Centre. The houses visible in the photograph at the end of the terraces are: 14 Short Street; 13 Short Street; and 12, Daisy Street.
