Christ Church is a Grade II* listed building (English Heritage List Entry Number: 1163417 http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=1163417&resourceID=5 Heritage Gateway). The church was built in 1888 in the Gothic Revival style.
