The church of St. John the Evangelist in Alvanley taken from Alvanley footpath 9. The church was built in 1790 as a chapel to nearby Frodsham and became the parish church of Alvanley in 1861. The White Lion pub is opposite the church (behind it from this angle and not seen in the image - but no reason not to drop in!).
