Ludlows Lane, on the right, is a cul-de-sac off Five Ways Road. Recent housing is making a street where before there were just one or two cottages. Today's farming has little use for handsome brick-and-tile barns. At least two long hedges have been removed to create this field. The mangled wrought iron fence in the foreground is another sign of the times. The view is from near the junction of Five Ways Road and Stoney Lane.
