A street scene in this delightful corner of Dartmouth. The pub was once owned by Plymouth Breweries Ltd and still boldly carries its company's livery on the wall of the building set in a fine display of tiling. The tiled section just be seen under the hanging dolphin sign. Embedded in the tiling is also an advert for its 'Star' range of Ales. Plymouth Breweries was initially formed in 1889 by the amalgamation of 5 breweries and later enlarged when three Torquay breweries were taken into the group. Image
