This modern office block, described by the architects as cutting edge contemporary design, is now nearing completion. http://www.merchantgate.co.uk/ Wakefield Council statement:- Within and around the development site there are many fine listed buildings which lend character to the area. The Council are committed that this re-development must complement these outstanding historic buildings as well as enhance their settings. (Has this been achieved)?
