A London bound East Midland Trains service, probably from Nottingham, runs alongside the M1 Motorway just north of Mill Hill Broadway. The train is an HST and has mainly been reliveried to the current East Midland colours. However, the leading class 43 power car retains the old Midland Mainline colours. The bridge behind the train carries Selvage Lane (A5109) over the railway and motorway.
