The Stocksbridge Steelworks is a huge site - and I mean HUGE - spread along the river valley. There are three entrances ... a 'newish' one allows access from the Stocksbridge By-pass, a 'West' entrance (pictured), which I think is also known as the No 2 Gate, and the No 1 entrance in Stocksbridge centre. A sign near to this entrance shows the way to the No 1 gate. Image
