As the central boiler house has been demolished, the buildings it served have had to acquire alternative sources of steam. These three inspired buildings appear to serve the medical school. The yellow pipes supply gas to the burner(s) and the silver pipes coming from the roofs are the flues that hang off the side of the medical school. Steam pipes head into a plant room immediately behind. Steam can be seen venting from the plant room.
