Westward just short of the Balerno terminus of the branch line from Slateford, which closed to passengers long before on 1/11/43, but Goods traffic continued until 4/12/67. No rails can be seen in this view, but possibly the building on the right was in the Goods Yard. The A70 was out of sight to the left, the Water of Leith to the right.
