Northwest boundary. The land on the left, Gappah Brake, appears as a much more extensive piece of woodland on the OS Landranger map, less so on the Explorer map, and at the time of the visit some further partial clearance had recently taken place. Whether this was in order to extend the landfill site is speculation.
