The three storey terrace with the entrance to the Ankerside Shopping Centre in front is Nos. 3-5, has an early 19C front and is listed. Then No.7, Thos. Cook's, has round-headed windows like a chapel. No.8, the Abbey bank, is no doubt now rebranded as Santander.
