The complete range of buildings visible here are Listed grade II. The first two, incorporating the village stores, are 17th century. The next, 3-bay, house is Middle House and dates from the 18th century. Next beyond is Dial House, 17th century, which takes its name from the sundial between the upper storey windows (visible on the higher resolution image). Next is a double cottage, formerly housing a butcher's shop, again 17th century, and finally, with the two small dormers, another 17th century house, formerly a bank.
