The photo was taken from opposite the phone box just below the traffic lights where the road From Elgin and Tomintoul joins the High Street from the right. The phone box is in the lower right of the picture. The traffic lights are showing green just beyond the green signpost. Straight ahead is the main road leading to Nairn and Forres.
