Although the Bromsgrove market hall was only built 15 year ago it is due for demolition in April 2010. The site will become a temporary car park until a buyer is found or an agreement reached by the council for joint development. The council say the building has been losing £4,000 a month. The market stalls now set up shop on the High Street which, although less comfortable for the retailers, does liven up the shopping area. Compare with view taken just fourteen months later Image
