The steel framed construction is going to be a four-storey block of flats. It is being developed on part of what was once the campus site of Burmah Oil, a name all but forgotten except locally. Burmah were taken over by British Petroleum some years ago and BP have reduced their presence here and sold off part of the site for residential use. Some local residents aren't happy with this part of the development.
