The Waterside. This grandiose development, started c2006(?) must have investors, developers, and purchasers thinking more than twice now we are into 2010 and the aftermath of the "credit crunch" and economic recession. Strictly for the "serious" end of the market, the sales hype cannot bring itself to mentioning the canal. We are told, "A stunning multi award winning collection of luxury apartments and penthouses (is) available for purchase from Parkridge Homes. Waterside surrounds an impressive cascading water feature, with spectacular views across the Stratford-upon-Avon waterway, nature reserve and the Solihull countryside beyond." Has anyone noticed that anything considered above the average these days is "stunning"? My head hurts :-( For search engines, this is on the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, from which the likes of you and I can gawp and take snaps.
