Image: © Philip Barker Taken: 21 Feb 2010

This photograph shows a view of the A174 road as it skirts by the south-east area of Brotton. The picture was composed at the point where the public footpath that runs between Brotton and Craggs Hall crosses the road. The North Sea, coastline and the Corus steelworks at Carling How can just be seen on the horizon. The picture was taken looking in a north-easterly direction towards Skinningrove.
