Looking north across the busy crossroads where Hackney Road leads off to the west and Bishop's Way goes to the east. Straight on is Cambridge Heath Road for some way until the bridge over the Regent's Canal is reached; at this point, the road, which is the A107, enters the London Borough of Hackney and changes its name to Mare Street.
