A Ware player prepares to take a throw-in as a brief snow shower falls on the ground. Looking across the ground from near the halfway line to the southeast corner reveals a view of Alexandra Palace on the horizon. Note that for the 2009/2010 season Wingate and Finchley have reverted to their azure blue shirts and white shorts after a season in dark blue. The game finished 3-1 to Wingate and Finchley.
