There is a public footpath to North Piddle across this property and it is well maintained. The wheel is either a modern replica or a very heavily restored original. It is breastshot. There is an auxiliary driving wheel on the outside wall. On the other side there are the halves of a large gear leant against the wall (possibly the pit wheel). The mill is all included but not the mill house behind.
