This is one of three sculptures by Antony Gormley (most famous for this icon in Gateshead: Image) commissioned in 1987 for placement around the City Walls in Derry. This one sits outside the Millennium Forum (opened 2001) and has been interpreted as a metaphor for the divisions that exist in the city.
