The yellowish stone with redbrick dressings around the windows and door gives a pleasant effect. The farmhouse to the right has a similar appearance, but the stone is cladding around a 17C timber-frame. The barn behind is also a 17C timber-framed building, clad with weather-boarding. The hipped end to the roof does not quite reach the ridge, leaving a small triangular gable-end.
