This is one of eight new outdoor gyms established by Camden NHS in their area to provide free local facilities to provide you with your recommended thirty minutes of daily exercise. See http://www.camden.nhs.uk/downloads/Outdoor%20Gyms%20leaflet.pdf for details and a map showing where the other seven sites are. Alas on a dank sleety February Sunday morning no one was taking advantage of the facility. Lismore Circus was built as the hub of a great Victorian housing estate, complete with its own railway station, but Second World War bomb damage to considerable parts of it meant that it was completely rebuilt in the 1960s with housing such as the Ludham block visible to the right. Today Lismore Circus is just this small park with trees and has no public vehicle access.
