Located at the north east end of Goldcroft Common. The present building dates from the 18th century, but is probably built on a much older foundation. The premises used to have extensive stables, suggesting The Goldcroft may once have been a coaching inn. Update August 2010 : The pub has closed down http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2040704
