The field boundary at the west end of this field is shown in Image The total length of the field is over 750 metres while the width averages 100 to 150 metres. Footpath WG 7/25 runs the length of it along the field boundary on the right, while footpath WG 7/26 crosses it diagonally just ahead. Along the left side runs Aslant Covert, a narrow strip of woodland descending, like the field, towards the valley of the Hillfarrance Brook.
