View east across the frosty playing fields. The school buildings are on the left and above is the spire of St Mary's Church in the large trees at the top of the hill. Sir Francis Drake's cousin Admiral Sir John Hawkins married the daughter of Charles Vaughan of nearby Hergest Court.
