There is a series of bench marks around the perimeter wall of Sefton Park, and this clear cut mark is on the northern gatepost at the park entrance opposite Lark Lane. This mark is shown on Portal Planning but there is also a cancelled bench mark on the southern gatepost, which dates to an earlier survey.
