Alderney: St. Brelade?s Avenue

Named, like many of the local roads, after Channel Island locations – along with the suburb of Alderney itself – St. Brelade's Avenue has bungalows only on the odd-numbered side. The other side is the periphery of Bourne Bottom, the public open space along which the young Bourne Stream runs, on its way, eventually, to the coast at Bournemouth pier. A line of pylons runs parallel with the road, as does another line out of picture to the right.
