Stow Hill Library and Information Centre is in a small, single-storey building located among the long line of shops at the Handpost, on the north side of the top end of Stow Hill. It is part of Newport City Council's library service. Shops next to the library are Handpost Flowers and Handpost Gift (fashion accessories).
