The pub on the A4177 is also easily accessible from Lock No 43 (moor above the top lock*). The pub is a refurbished 18th century coaching inn and is more of an "eatery" than a pub, well worth a visit. The Hatton flight of locks on the Grand Union Canal is an attraction. Don't believe all the photographs (including mine) on this website. The sun DOES shine... sometimes. :-( *some people park in the Car Park.
