The field is just over the fence surrounding the cemetery at Wyke Regis. It looks out over the suburbs of Weymouth, including Lanehouse and Westham, and up on to the Dorset Downs dividing Weymouth from Dorchester. In the distance on the right the new road (A354) is visible as a chalk line descending the hill.
