Myers Grove School opened in 1960 and was the first purpose built secondary school in Sheffield. This School and the (relatively) nearby Wisewood Senior School are due to close and be replaced by a new School - Forge Valley Community School - in 2011. This will be built just to the right of this building, on land which currently has derelict buildings on it, which were originally used as the lower school buildings and latterly were part of Loxley College. Follow this link for details of the planned new school ... http://newschool.swclc.net/index.html See also ... Image Image More information about the former Loxley College is on this link ... Image
