These footprints show the way for Town Hall visitors, who have entered through the main front entrance, up the goods yard to the public enquiry office. Originally, every other print was green, leading up steps in the distance ahead of us, pointing the way to the Image across the road, while the blue ones led round to the enquiry office. Now, though, the steps have been replaced by a slight ramp so there is only one route to follow.
