On the map, this stretch of road is marked at McConnell Place. One of the facts that I have gathered is "Question, Which Omagh road has the name as a battle as a battle in the Franco-Prussian War 1870-71 - Answer Sedan Avenue" but there is no apparent link between that event and this location. - see http://sites.google.com/site/kennyallenswebsite/home/fair-faa-ye-tae-omey
