These are a few of the eco houses that have been built on a 2.1 acre site in north central Bristol by the Ashley Vale Action Group.(AVAG) AVAG bought the site which used to belong to Scaffolding Great Britain (SGB) in 2001.The money to buy was raised by selling building plots to self-builders. The original site was completely covered by a concrete slab.The site is bounded by Mina Rd on the west and Boiling Wells Lane on the north. This is the view along the site frontage on Mina Rd. The builders had to adhere to ecological guidelines set out by AVAG
