Burst water main - Collier Street

Water was being forced into a jet high into the sky in the middle of Collier Street. Fortunately, this is not a busy street and although this picture was taken at 8.30am there was no disruption to traffic - the street was still open to pedestrians (and the wind was ensuring that the north side pavement was quite dry). The London fire brigade was in attendance but other than watch there was not much they could do.
