Situated in the Normandale area of Loxley ... which came first, the house or the area name? The area was once part of Loxley Chase, originally open moorland and used by the Norman Lords for hunting, in the 11th Century. This area is also linked with the Robin Hood legend ... Robin of Locksley, or (nowadays) Loxley!
