This set of buildings - or others on the same site - appear on the 1902 OS Map of this area. On this map they are surrounded by lots of open countryside ... nowadays they are surrounded by schools, colleges and housing! In this view the houses in the distance are in Studfield Hill, on the far side of the River Loxley. Part of the derelict Loxley College can be seen on the right.
