Early Lodge

There are actually two houses, a larger one lies hidden behind this one, as seen from the public footpath. The name "Early Lodge" is the only one appearing on the map (even at large scale, on Planning portal, where it appears nearer to this house). The track itself is not marked as a right of way on the map, but as the footpath was proving difficult to follow in the freezing fog, with snow-covered ground, I used it to reach the road to the south and avoid accidentally wandering off-route, as did a couple with dogs coming the other way.
