The village of Nenthead was built around 1825 as a model village by the London Lead Company, to house and provide amenities for the lead miners and other workers employed in the lead mines. The photograph shows a model village within a life size model village. This developing feature is a popular attraction with walkers on Isaac's Tea Trail.
