Digging foundations on Skinner Street

This small site is at the junction of Saunders Street (in front) and Skinner Street (on the left). The mini digger in the site is digging strip foundations. These foundations are about a metre deep and, if approved by Building Control, they can be filled with concrete, then the brickwork can start. In a trench, is a fellow groundworker with a spade.
