Several sheep and a couple of chickens had been driven into one corner of their field as the River Alde overflowed into their field, due to melting snow and a long rainy period. I don't suppose the geese were too worried. The river itself is just behind the trees, in front of the buildings. The stone items seem to be part of the bridge over the river, now replaced with a solid concrete version with imitation pillars cast into it.
