Old railway near Thorpe Thewles

This length of disused railway is little used, but further north this line becomes the very popular Castle Eden Walkway (or to give it its proper title nowadays, the Wynyard Woodland Park). The wooden stakes are intended to exclude motor bikes, but some vandal seems to have made a good attempt to burn them down.
