The Harford rail viaduct carries the Norwich to London (Liverpool Street) mainline over the Ely line (seen in the foreground) and the River Yare. It has six brick arches and was constructed in 1848-49. This view was taken from one of the back gardens of terraced cottages in Theobald Road which adjoin the Ely line - many thanks to the lady who kindly permitted access to her garden to take this picture - there is no public right of way leading near this viaduct.
