This viaduct carries the Leamington to Coventry railway line over Warwick New Road. The now-closed Warwick (Milverton) station was immediate north of the viaduct and the station entrance and booking hall were under and beside the left hand arch. Warwick (Milverton) was served by trains from Coventry and by trains on the now-dismantled line from Rugby (see below).
