A panoramic view (perspective-corrected) of the front elevation of The City Pool and City Hall. These were built by C. Nicholas and J.E. Dixon Spain in 1928 in a neo-Georgian design with a colonnaded entrance. The Pool is on the same site of older baths which had been designed by John Dobson Image in 1839, which proved unsuccessful. The Turkish bath in the current building is very much admired.
