This picture gives the same view as a picture included in the book 'Sheffield in the age of the tram 1950 - 60' ... the picture, one of only a few showing any part of the Holme Lane Tram Depot, is dated 20 March 1954. The two properties opposite the entrance were shops back in 1954 but have had the shop windows replaced and are now just houses ... what stories they could tell of all the comings and goings of the Sheffield Trams in their hey day.
